The Bijou Theatre was originally located in the Jefferson Building on Narcissus Avenue. It was later moved to the corner of Myrtle Street (today renamed Clematis Street).

The Bijou Theatre was demolished in 1922, and the Kettler Theatre, later Palms Theatre, was built on the site.
