Located in Perth, Tayside. The Alhambra Theatre was opened as a live theatre in April 1922, with a seating capacity for 1,010. Designed by local Perh architect A.K. Beaton, it presented musical hall & variety, but was equipped with projection equipment. Films were being screened from 1924, when it was part of the Thomas Ormiston circuit.

In March 1928 it was taken over by the Denman/Gaumont British Theatres circuit. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Acoustic sound system.

The Alhambra Theatre was badly damaged by a fire at the stage end in 1956. It was repaired and remodeled, re-opening as the Gaumont, now with an increased seating capacity of 1,288. On 16th December 1962 the Rank Organisation re-named it Odeon.

The Odeon was closed on 1st November 1980. It was converted into a bingo club which losed in the late-1980’s. It then operated as a Leisureland nightclub, it was destroyed by a fire (an arson attack) in 1993. Housing has been built on the site.
