The New Turlock Theatre was opened on April 15, 1920. It was built for A.H. & K. Arakelian, and designed as a brick & steel structure by architect Albert W. Cornelius.
The New Turlock Theatre was destroyed by fire on July 25, 1945. It was replaced by a new Turlock Theatre which opened in 1948.
