The Spokane Daily Chronicle covered the opening of Luxury Theatres $1.3 million North Division 6 on June 20, 1980. The 1,950 seats cinema had auditoriums with 500, 400, 300 and three with 250 seats. In November of 1988 the Chronicle announced that Tom Moyer was selling his Luxury Theatres to Act III Theatres.

After being operated by Regal Cinemas since August of 1998, it closed on September 28, 2000. This was to make way for Regal’s NorthTown Mall 12, which opened the next day. In 2001 a school called the Dance Emporium moved into the building.
