Opened on June 17, 1950 with the film “Fighting Man of the Plains”, starring Randolph Scott and Jane High. Owned by Ted Grance. Located on Business U.S. 220/PA 764 (originally the main U.S. 220), approximately 3 miles north of downtown Altoona. Closed at the end of the 1982 season. A shopping center with Martin’s Food Market now occupies the former drive-in site.
