This theatre was opened probably in the 1960’s by General Cinema Corporation. It may have stood close to the location of today’s Parsippany Cinema 12. Sometime during the 1970’s this theatre was split in half with a wall down the middle to create a twin cinema. It was pretty much a standard GCC design for that time period.

I remember once in the late 1970’s I had to go get supplies from this theatre and it had a huge chandelier that hung in the lobby and could be seen from rte. 46. The front of the building was all glass.
