Lyceum Theatre

The Harris Brothers Lyceum Theatre on Main Street in Boonton opened around 1897 and had a seating capacity of 1,000. It was used to stage plays and operas performances as well as silent films presentations. Still in operation in 1940 but is not information as when the theater closed. It was damaged by a fire in the 1950’s and was later demolished.

The Lyceum Theater in Boonton, New Jersey was located in 905 Main St. It had 700 seats and was owned by David Snaper Theaters in 1930. Closed around 1950.

Opened around 1897 as the Harris Lyceum Theatre. The building was damaged by a fire in the 1950s and was later demolished.
