Built in 2005 as the Majestic 6-Plex, the marquee in the parking lot replicates that of the Majestic Theatre in Yakima owned by Frederick Mercy. The Mercy family now run Yakima Theatres, who own a number of theatres in the Yakima area, including this new Majestic Theatre in nearby Union Gap.
