Picture House, Otley (probably early 1950s)

Located in Otley, near Leeds, Yorkshire. The Kinematograph Year Books for 1947 and 1954 show the Picture House, Otley as part of the Star Cinemas circuit, but it is not on the list of Star cinemas in the KYB 1942.

The Picture House closed some time in the early-1960’s. The entrance/foyer was converted to shop use (now the left hand part of Captain Value (2013)). The auditorium, behind the street buildings, was demolished and offices erected.
