Located in the Latin Quarter district on the south side (Left Bank) of the River Seine. The Studio Galande was opened on 11th January 1973 with “Les Idoles”. Films such as “Clockwork Orange” and “Birdy” were very popular here, but the film with the longest run is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, which made the Studio Galande its Paris home, screened in its original English language version, and is still being shown to sell out houses in 2013.
The Studio Galande today is one of the last remaining small cinemas operating in this trendy district.
