Nearby Theaters

The Castle Theatre was open in 1930 with seating listed at 400 seats. This was the older of the three theatres in Wake Forest. It was operated by the Palace Theatre Co. The theatre closed in the mid-1940’s.

Any additional information on the Castle Theatre would be appreciated.

This article from theWake Forest Gazette says that the Castle Theatre, opened in 1927, was renamed the Forest Theatre in 1940.
