Located in Ore Village, just 1 and a half miles to the north-east of Hastings, East Sussex. Construction began in 1906 but was abandoned until 1913 when it was completed and the Cynthia Cinema was opened in June 1913. It was owned by R. Bowden. A new owner soon took over and it was re-named Clive Vale Cinema. Around 1921, another owner took over and it was re-named Princess Cinema. It was closed in May 1923.
The building was converted into retail use. Later the Salvation Army took it over and they continue to own the building today.
