Located in Littleport, 8-miles north of Ely, Cambridgeshire. The Regal Cinema was opened in 1937. It was designed in an Art Deco style by a local (unnamed) architect. Seating was provided all on a single level. It was equipped with a British Talking Picture(BTP) sound system and had a 20 feet wide proscenium. It became part of the D.F. Bostock chain, based in Ipswich.

It was equipped with CinemaScope in the mid-1950’s and the screen was 28 feet wide, with the seating capacity reduced to 420. The Regal Cinema was closed in 1981, and it was converted into a bingo club.

In recent years this has closed and it became a community centre. By 2012 it was Stepping Stones pre-school daycare centre. They moved out the building in 2013, and in late-2014 plans were proposed to demolish the building.
