Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre originally opened in 1915 on Patterson Street. It was listed as (Closed) in the 1933 edition of Film Daily Yearbook, having not been wired for sound. After closing it was converted to retail, being split into two separate stores in the 1970’s. After years of disuse, the building has fallen into serious disrepair. In 2014, new owners acquired the former Strand building and intend on converting it into an upscale food and home decor store.
