Located in the Centennial Park suburb in the north of Albany. The Central 70 Drive-In opened on 26th December 1964 with Hayley Mills in “Summer Magic”, and “Gladiators 7”. It was called Central 70 because it was the most centrally located of the three drive-in’s in Albany and and the only one in Albany to have 70mm projection facilities. The Central 70 Drive-In closed on 10th February 1983 with “The Beastmaster” plus “Kill and Kill Again”. The equipment was sold to City Theatres and installed in the Beechline Drive-In in Ballajura.
