The People’s Opera House was opened in 1908. In 1948 it was remodeled to the plans of architect Slack W. Winburn and was renamed Morgan Theatre. By 1950 it had been renamed Morgan Opera House and it continued to operate as a movie theatre until its closure in 1970.
It operates in 2015 as a restaurant known as Larry’s Spring Chicken Inn.
