Recreation Hall

Located on the northwest corner of Great Eastern Highway & Linley Valley Road. Movies were screened at the Recreation Hall at the Woorooloo Sanitorium for patients and staff starting in(1930’s or 1940’s?). Unknown when the movie screenings finished(possibly late-1950’s?). The Sanitorium buildings are now used by Woorooloo Hospital, and Woorooloo Prison Farm. I think the former Woorooloo Sanitorium buildings have been heritage listed?
