Westline Drive-In

The Westline Drive-In opened on 20th November 1978 with “One on One”, some cartoons(not named), and “Hopper”. The Westline Drive-In closed in March 1996. All equipment and the screen were removed prior to auction, and it was brought by the Racecourse Sugar Mill for $500,000(Australian), half of what it cost to build in 1978. The Westline Drive-In had the biggest drive-in screen in Queensland. The rest of the Westline Drive-In remained on the site. The Racecourse Sugar Mill put the drive-in up for sale in November 2007(unknown if sold?)

Now used as a storage yard(pipes, sand etc). Gates and driveway curbs remain.
