Located in Selby, Yorkshire at the junction of Gowthorpe and Scott Road, opposite Selby Town Hall. The Globe Cinema was a conversion of a former tannery and opened on 22nd December 1910. A pantomime was staged at the Globe Cinema in 1914. The Globe Cinema was closed ‘temporary’ in May 1921, but it never re-opened.
