The Rex-Lichtspiele opened on 7th September 1956 with Lana Turner & Richard Burton in “The Rains of Ranchipur”(De Grote Regen). It was closed in the summer of 1968.
It was demolished in 2007 and an ALDI supermarket was built on the site, in 2016 it is a Lidl supermarket.
