Located on Old Compton Street, in the Soho district of London’s West End, adjacent to the Swiss Tavern pub (since 1986 a gay bar ‘Comptons of Soho’). The Blue Film Cinema Club was operating in 1981 as an adult cinema, screening uncensored films to club ‘members’.
The building has had many uses over the years, in 2017 it is Poppies Fish & Chips Restaurant.
