The previous entry on 12/08/09 features a link to pictures of the Birmingham, Alabama Lyric theatre and not Huntsville. It is also posted on the Lyric site for Birmingham. The Huntsville Lyric was a downtown theatre and unfortunately was not as ornate as the Birmingham theatre. Both cities also had an Alabama theatre but Hunstville’s Alabama theatre was not close to the Lyric and was located on Memorial Parkway adjacent to The Mall.

A Wurlitzer theater organ opus 39 style L was installed in the Lyric Theater on 7/18/1919.
