The Bioscoop-Salon Vreeburg was opened by R. Bresser in 1908. By 1927 it was screening Avante-Garde films. In 1936 it was remodeled in a Moderne style by architect Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and renamed Bioscoop Vreeburg. It was closed in 1974 and in 2018 it is an Esprit clothing store.
