This is one of my favourite theatres of all time. They show classic, independent and first and second-run art-house films. The theatre opened on September 18, 1985 and is housed in a complex that has a bar, restaurant and microbrewery. The bar has adult entertainment during the day, which isn’t much of a stretch since the Princess used to be a porn theatre called The Majestic, according to another site.

The theatre re-opened in January 2001 after installing mock-stadium seating and upgrading the sound. Tickets are reasonable and the theatre also sells yearly memberships in which patrons gain a $3 discount over non-members each visit.
