The Star Theatre opened July 16, 1917, with Marguerite Clark in “Snow White”. According to Internet Movie Data Base, Marguerite was the model for Walt Disney’s 1938 film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. The Quigley Publication poll noted she was the top movie actress of 1920.

The Star Theatre closed May 14, 1920, and its film line-up was taken up by the Mutual Theatre, which announced a change of program every day.
