Tiny Chattanooga, Oklahoma received a new build movie theatre opening January 25, 1947 by operator L.W. Lewallen. The theatre had new projection and seating for 300 - not bad for a town of just 365 residents. The opening film was Penny Singleton in “Life with Blondie”.

Just six months later, Lewallen sold the venue to Ole Branson who next run the Jewel Theatre. W.R. Petty took on the theatre on November 15, 1951 as its final operator. The theatre dropped advertisements following the December 18, 1951 show.
