The murals in this theater, (murals of two women warriors riding on winged horses on clouds) are a almost exact duplicate of the murals at the Bal Theater in San Leandro! I am pleased to see that this theater is under renovation – I hope that the curtain was preserved. It is a beautiful theatre.
Here is yet another angle of the State theater.

This is a photo of the State Theater in Red Bluff.
During Civil War re-enactment. Gone With the Wind was shown.
In July 2005, Casablanca & Wizard of Oz will be shown.
Currently, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has been showing there recently at midnight…once a month.
As I recall, this theatre’s entrance was moved around a corner during its post-fire renovation. This would likely explain the address change.
This listing shows the State theatre at 333 Main Street, but the official site shows it at 333 Oak St., Red Bluff, Ca. Was there two sepereate State theatres?
The State Theatre is located at 333 Main Street.
