Located in Radcliffe, Lancashire, now part of Greater Manchester, on Kenyon Street just south of the River Irwell. George Testo Sante, a former music hall strongman was already operating the Grand Theatre (later known as the Coliseum Theatre which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Picture Palace was opened in 1910. It has a 12ft deep stage and two dressing rooms. It was equipped for ‘talkies’ in 1929 when a British Talking Pictures (BTP) sound system was installed.

The Bridge Picture House was closed in 1952. The building was sold and it was operated by a motor body firm.
