Located in the northwest of the city centre near the Paris Gare de Lyon railway station. The Novelty was opened on 20th May 1930. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels. It was designed by architect Marcel Royer who was also the director of the cinema. It was closed on 24th July 1963 with James Dean in “East of Eden”. It is now used by a paediatrician and as office space.
