The 400-seat Opera House was operating as a movie theatre by 1926. It was closed by 1932. By 1933 it had reopened and had been renamed Phelps Theatre, still with 400-seats. The seating capacity had been reduced to 250-seats by 1950. The Phelps Theatre was still open in 1957.
