The Sky Chief Movie Theatre was opened in 1948 in the Brownsville area of Pensacola, Florida. It was hailed as the first walk-in theater in Northwest Florida and featured state-of-the-art amenities like air-conditioning. The theatre was destroyed by fire in 1956.
