Located on the corner of 1st Avenue and Main Street in Belfield. The theatre has a blonde brick front with limestone molded pattern around the front entrance and box office. The box office is located to the right of the entrance with the four entrance doors to the left. Small single panel marquee above the entrance with the theatre name in neon above the attraction panels. Nice size lobby and concessions area. The interior is done in an Art Deco style throughout.
The Belfield Theatre was the first theatre in North Dakota to be equipped for CinemaScope and Magnetic Stereo sound. It became a recording studio. It was renovated in 2017 and reopened as a movie theatre and live performance center.
