Here’s a link to some 2009 photos on Flickr. Looks like they covered the whole 2nd floor with metal panels. Personal opinion…it looks crappy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sethgaines/7051728617/in/contacts/
G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra? Why would you waste money on that anyway…You’re lucky she didn’t give you a boot in the behind…
Well, I never had a problems with refunds especially when playing films like “ON GOLDEN POND” which i did refund a few at Regency because the ladies came out complaining about the dirty lanuage.Ladies that old still saw the PG rating as Family friendly,In those days PG pictures such as “BILLY JACK” were loaded with Adult language and Quite a bit of nudity. But to give someone a full refund after watching the entire film is crazy.I had one lady one night at Columbia 1 and 2 want her money back after watching the whole movie.Needless to say,She didn’t get it a penny.Love working with the public everyone should be forced to do it.
The refund policy for the Loew’s Theatres in St. Louis was that the patron present their ticket stub. The numbers on the ticket stub were checked again the box office work sheet and if the ticket was purchased within a half hour either a refund was issued or a pass for a future movie. Mr. Rabakoff who was the district manager was very adament about always making the patron happy.
right on tisloews,WHERE ARE ALL THE REAL THEATRE MANAGERS AT THESE DAYS ?
In my theatre days we hardly gave refunds or were even asked for them, the ticket price just bought you a seat, we could not know if you would like the film or not, if that was the case you could watch the whole movie and said you did not like it and get your money back, same as a concert or play or any other event. The persons picked to see the film.
I would have given a refund within the 20 minutes after that No way.And these theatres that refund movies after folks watch a whole are nuts.
The address for this theatre should be
211 Main St.

BAD TASTE LEFT IN MY MOUTH FROM THE ROTTEN TOMATO OF AN EMPLOYEE AT THIS THEATER!
I had a very bad experience with this theater today. This may have been my fault as the movie I was going to was bound to flop. I went to watch G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra with my father. Thirty minutes tops into the film I couldn’t stand it any longer. I was ready to crawl out of my skin as the level of horribleness was off the charts. Rather than waste any more of my life I went to ask for my money back. And I quote, “Can I have my money back, this film is horrible.” The young girl behind the counter immediately got angry and said they don’t give money back unless the film breaks. I told her “Everywhere I have been does.” She got very intense and told me she was the owners daughter and there was nothing that she could or would do. I told her “You’re being rude. I’m not being rude to you now please stop.” I politely stood my ground firmly to the point of her almost yelling. Finally she scratched “Admit one” on the back of my stubs and signed her name, also giving me the owners number. (her parents) I pointed out that we had seen District 9 today with two other people from our work crew so I had already patronized her establishment. She didn’t care. Unfortunately for Williston there doesn’t seem to be an alternative theater. To all who visit here I would steer clear of the owners daughter at all cost and be sure not to engage in conflict with her as she is highly rude and unaware of customer service.

The current owners of the Grand John & Jane Agnes, the address should be corrected to read 312 Main St. Originally opened as a singel screen theatre in 1920.
