The Cavalier Theatre opened in 1949 in Art Moderne style, seating 342. It remained a mainstay in downtown Cavalier for many years.
A three story front with apartments over the lobby. Still has the original four wooden doors at the entrance. It has a flat square shaped awning type marquee over the entrance with free standing letters spelling out “Cavalier” in neon over the front. A really typical small town theatre.

The Cavalier is not closed it is open on week ends. Palying the week/end of January 4 is “Palying For Keeps”
