The Blackstone Theatre opened in 1920, with steating for 272. It is one of those impressive old small town theatres with its red brick front and white terra trim.
Later renamed Rockford Theatre, it has a squared marquee with attraction panels on each end. It also has a good-sized vertical sign. Well appointed and maintained lobby and auditorium. It has one show each evening at 8:00.
