The Star-Lite opened in 1949. This single-screen drive-in could accomodate about 600 cars. From the 70s, until the time it closed, in 1981, the Star-Lite was under the same ownership as the Moon-Lite in Moorhead (which was closed seven years later). The drive-in was razed after closing to make way for a strip mall.
