The Fox Theatre has been around since opening on April 14, 1914 as the 630 seat, Pastime Theatre. It became the Prince Edward Theatre in 1915. It was renamed Fox Theatre in 1937. It was closed for extensive alterations and reopened in 2007.
It still operates today in a part of Toronto known as The Beaches – which is located on Lake Ontario and has a boardwalk.
