The address of the Farrell Theatre is given as 118-12 Rockaway Blvd, Ozone Park. It had 519 seats.
When you map the address of 118-12 Rockaway Blvd it shows as South Ozone Park with a zipcode of 11420.
In the 1941 Film Daily Yearbook the Farrell Theatre is listed under South Ozone Park (no address given). In the 1950 F.D.Y it is listed under Ozone Park with the address given above. Obviously a case of correct address, wrong area in the 1950 listing. The Farrell Theatre needs to be up-dated to read South Ozone Park.
Exactly. The address of 118-12 Rockaway Blvd is correct. Its just listed in the wrong part of Ozone Park.

According to NYC property records, the theatre may still exist but converted to a “store building; two-story, or store/office.” The current market value of the property, owned by Jlal Realty, is reported as $505,000.
This property is a double lot and is listed under real estate records as 118-14 Rockaway Boulevard. 118-12 Rockaway Boulevard although part of this same property is actually a “dead” address. The addresses show as follows:

Maybe when the theater was open the address was 118-12 but it isn’t that way anymore.
The building appears to be intact and is currently an auto parts store.
