Arcade Theatre

The Arcade Theatre opened February 1932, just west of downtown Salt Lake City. It was a free standing building with a very plain facade. It did have a small V shaped marquee and a rather large vertical. It was remodelled in 1948 to the plans of architect Slack W. Winburn.

It operated until 1991 when it closed. It was demolished in 2000.

Tuesday nights were dollar nights in the late 1980’s until it closed. Usually packed the theatre.
