Tyrone Township man wants to open shuttered Fenton Cinema into entertainment center
FENTON, MI — There are suddenly lots of possibilities for the Fenton Cinemas, which closed just over three years ago. The potential new owner wants to turn it into an entertainment center with each room having a different focus, from live DJ’s to a hookah lounge.

Wake to buy vacant Garner theater, use it for overflow classrooms
GARNER, NC — Overflowed schools have caused Wake County to purchase the Garner Town Square 10 to help ease the capacity. No details on precisely what renovations will take place are available at this time.

Suburban World for sale
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The atmospheric gem, Suburban World Theatre, is up for sale for close to $900K. The Commerce Bank of Edina is selling it following some recent renovations to the roof.

Marcus now owns 10 MN movie theaters after latest purchase
DULUTH, MN — Marcus is expanding its reach into Minnesota with the acquisition of its tenth theater there. They’ll be converting the Omnimax theater at the Convention Center into another of their UltraScreen theaters.

400 is the new 100
