Opened by General Cinema Corp. on November 15, 1967 with Steve McQueen in “The Sand Pebbles”. It was a single screen cinema. It was twinned in 1972. Seating listed after the twinning was 575. It was located in the Brookfield Square Shopping Center.

The cinemas closed on October 18, 1987 with Matt Dillon in “The Big Town” & Andrew Robinson in “Hellraiser”. It was converted to retail use.

The city in which this theater was located was Brookfield, not Milwaukee.
