The 900-seat Fox Lakeridge Theatre was opened by the National General Corp. on December 25, 1964 with Jerry Lewis in “The Disorderly Orderly”. It was twinned by 1980. Later closed, it became Decades Nightclub. Since demolished the site is now a Wal-Mart Supercenter.

From the April 16, 1955 issue of BoxOffice: “Lee Theatres, operating three drive-ins in the state, has bought the Lakewood Theatre in Lakewood from the Jefferson Amusement Co.”
At some point, the LakeRidge became a 2 screen theater, as its name was changed to the LakeRidge Twin. It became a twin sometime before March 1980 because the movie SERIAL played there and the theater was listed as the Lakeridge Twin. It’s address was 1650 Wadsworth Blvd, where a Wal-Mart now sits. After the theater shut down, it became a nightclub called Decades Night Club. I don’t know when that closed and was subsequently scrapped to make way for the Wal-Mart.
Grand opening ad posted.
Two screens on October 29th, 1976 and closed in 1988 by Mann theatres.
