Opened February 15, 1985 by Redwood Theatres, the theatre was eventually acquired by United Artists and spent most of its life as a discount theatre. It wasn’t until the construction of a nearby 16-screen theatre began that UA realized they had their own zone and switched the theatre to first run for the final couple years of its life. Closed on January 17, 2000, the building was soon converted into a veterinary clinic.

United Artists began advertising this as one of their theatres on 2/26/1987.
Back in the day, you could go see double features here. I remember seeing Beaches here with my mom and about halfway through the movie, remember seeing a kid get sick to their stomach while running up the main aisle (probably a normal physiological reaction to this movie).
