Congratulations, Ross and company, on this admirable milestone! Your tally now is about equal to that of the Theatre Historical Society (though in somewhat different depth and format) and your patrons can always go to the Society for what cannot be found here; they are at www.historictheatres.org . Due to failing health, my contributions to this site must diminish, but I am confident that a great many others will carry on. I wish many more years of success to C.T.! You have provided a public spirited outlook upon our area of interest that had not heretofore been attained, and the world’s conscience has been raised as to its theatres heritage. Bravo!

Thanks everyone. But for adding, editing, and updating most of the 13,000+ theaters on this site, the gratitude should be directed at Bryan Krefft for all of his hard work and to all of you for your contributions.

This site continues to be a little miracle. :)

Nothing short of miraculous, Ross. Congratulations and thanks to you and to Patrick and to Bryan… and to all of us in the CT family. And while I’m at it, a familial note of concern and well wishes to Jim Rankin and warm thanks for all his contributions on this site.

Ed,

I join you in sending our best wishes to our longtime friend Jim Rankin who has been one of the longest and staunchest supporters of Cinema Treasures in all of its incarnations.

We wish him all the best. He’s in our thoughts as always.

Congratulations and thanks ! Cinema Treasures is a wonderful site, and a valuable resource. Here’s a way to get to the 15,000 mark fast: set up a sub-progam called “Stage Treasures” and allow for the listing of non-movie theaters. Cinema Treasures could then become a one-stop treasury of all theaters, everywhere.

Congratulations. The database gets better each day. Now that most of the “major” theaters had been already added, the continuous addition of the smaller, lesser known theaters is what makes the site even better.
