Sloped floor solution

posted by DaFrisco on April 18, 2007 at 4:40 am

I am looking for the least expensive method of leveling out a sloped floor in a theater I am looking to purchase. As this is a multi-screen building, my plan is to utilize part of the building for other venues and keep a few of the theater rooms as is so movies can be shown. Any ideas in regards to wood flooring, steel supports etc.

Sand or gravel is fairly common, I think.

A couple of things need to be considered such as the area or dimensions of the floor to be leveled, the gradient slope as well as what lies beneath the floor. This will dictate the type and amount of material to be used to achieve your intentions.

I was working at a concert venue which had the same problem. Go to their site and make contact with them. theoperahousetoronto.com
