“Alien Secrets” features the Vista Theatre

Two historic movie locations share something in common. Free screenings of “Alien Secrets” on May 5th, 6th and 7th for media members and the general public. Reservations are required at: Alien Secrets.

Hollywood, CA — During the first week in May, the exciting and controversial film, “Alien Secrets”, will be shown at the Wilshire Screening Room in Beverly Hills, Ca. Currently owned and operated by Michael Hall, the Wilshire Screening Rooms one of the choice screening facilities for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Film Festivals and top Hollywood production companies. The building once belonged to Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis and this was his personal screening room. The film, “Alien Secrets”, part Sci-Fi feature narrative and part documentary, features in it actual footage of the “War of the Worlds” 50th Anniversary held at the elegant Vista Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

The award winning film “Alien Secrets,” quickly gaining its reputation as the Spinal Tap of UFO’s is currently being distributed on V.O.D. and P.P.V. by Warner Home Entertainment. On May 5th, 6th and 7th,“Alien Secrets” will have a special screening at the Wilshire Screening room, home of the new Screening Services Group (SSG). Directed by J.J. Barmettler and staring Brandon Scott, “Alien Secrets”, is based on Brandon Scott’s real life escapades as he explores the UFO subculture with a biting edge and wit. Follow Brandon as he cleverly navigates his way through the world of Hollywood Celebrities, UFO Abductees and Alien/Human Hybrids while dogging a shadow government agent bent on stopping his findings. This offbeat and quirky sci-fi hybrid film is sprinkled with real icons from the UFO community and actual people claiming to be abductees and alien/human hybrids. With over twenty original songs, real UFO footage and daring subject matter, this provocative film is sure to be a cult sensation.

Films that have been presented at the Wilshire Screening room include: “In the Valley of Elah”, “No End in Sight”, “3:10 To Yuma”, “Crash” and awards screenings of “Beyond the Sea”, “A Love Song for Bobby Long”, Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11”, Disney’s “Chicken Little”, Dreamworks Prize Winner “Match Point”, Miramax’s “Proof"and "Sin City”, Sony’s “Memoirs of a Geisha”, “Oliver Twist” and “Rent”.

“Alien Secrets” was produced by J.J. Barmettler, Richard Smith and Brandon Scott and received the EBE award for Best Feature Film at the International UFO Congress Film Festival Featured on Coast to Coast with George Noory, ManiaTv with Dave Navarro, “Alien Secrets” will be shown in selective theaters around the world.

Barmettler also Produced the soon-to-be released sports thriller “Green Flash” which is screening at the 2008 Cannes Film Market May 14-25.
