How often do you have the chance to experience a performance that will leave you filled with feelings of joy and hope?

And how many times do you get a second chance just a few months later to join the crowd at such a rare event?

Following the wildly successful Chinese New Year Spectacular, Shen Yun Performing Arts returns to the Bay Area May 15-17 with its breathtaking classical Chinese dance and live orchestral music. Seven shows at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House and four at the Cupertino Flint Center in January were so well-received that the company is returning for a spring encore.

Shen Yun, previously known as “Divine Performing Arts,” has changed its name in English to match the Chinese name in pronunciation, though the meaning has not changed – and certainly the high-caliber performances have not changed.

Showgoers on four continents have witnessed an unparalleled and unprecedented tour de force of the best of 5,000 years of Chinese culture.
