Brooklyn to get an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in 2015

BROOKLYN, NY — The popular Alamo Drafthouse brand is expanding into Brooklyn in 2015 in what they say will be their best theatre yet. The Austin-bred dine and view business had already announced East Coast expansion plans earlier this year.

I immediately lost all interest when I read that it will be a brand-new venue. When I saw the headline, I thought that Alamo might be coming to the rescue of an existing theatre building that is no longer operating as such.
