Lost Creek, KY, near Hazard, may never be the same after the Way-Bak-Wyn Twin Drive-in theatre reopens on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12. According to Wilhemina Fugate, V.P. and General Manager of 3C Entertainment, Inc. who operates the rustic drive-in, “we’re pulling out all the stops for our 5th season re-opening”.

Patrons will be treated to live music by Kayla Beth Smith and Southern Chaos. Both groups will perform at 7 PM and during intermissions both nights. Five features will be presented on both screens including: “Zombieland”, “The Devil Inside”, “Dream House”, “Scream 4” and “The Thing”.

Admission is set at $5 a carload and patrons “cruising in” with a vintage car will be admitted for only 50 cents. Lucky patrons will receive free “zombie Cocktails,” buckets of body parts (fried chicken), free passes, free Pepsi products, t-shirts, ball caps and more. The grand prize for the Zombie Costume Contest will be a signed event poster, autographed by one of the stars of “Zombieland”. According to Fugate, “we’ve never done this before, but public comment so far already has us planning our next big music and movie event.” For more details you are invited to call 606 666-7733 or visit www.3cmovies.com. 3C theaters are booked by PBS (Preferred Booking Service) and also served by Oberleitner Associates Cinema Consultants, www.cinema-consultant.com.
