CHICAGO, IL — Theaters around the world have been struggling to make the jump to digital. The Patio Theater in Portage Park has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a digital projector — which is a necessity for their business to continue.
Check out their Kickstarter site along with some great pictures.
(Thanks to senorsock for providing the photo.)
the link states: “ Two new speakers will be installed to provide a much better auditory experience” I’m curious where? behind the screen? in the surrounds??
It will be difficult to solicit funds for a privately owned for-profit venue. This is primarily because there are no tax write-off advantages for donors.
Good blog, i will Subscription the blog and also welcome care for my blog ouwen smith’s blog.
In an effort to raise money for a new patio, a local restaurant has started a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign has a goal of $5,000, which will go towards the cost of the patio and its associated furniture. The restaurant has already raised $1,500, and is hoping to raise the remaining $3,500 through the campaign. With the help of generous donors, the restaurant will be one step closer to having a new patio that will allow for more outdoor dining. diamonds rings near me
